Hawaiian shave ice is a refreshing, cold treat made by shaving tempered blocks of ice with a blade to produce a fine, snow-like texture then topping it with lightly sweetened fruit syrups and condensed milk.

*Sweetened condensed milk (a.k.a. “snowcap”). Available in traditional dairy or vegan coconut, it adds creamy richness and is the classic way to top Hawaiian shave ice.

HulaScoops serves around a dozen flavors of locally-made, small-batch gelato (Italy’s lighter and more intense style of ice cream) and four flavors of dairy-free fruit sorbetto. Enjoy both in cups, waffle cones, or as add-ons to the center of any classic shave ice.

HulaScoops gelato contains no eggs or soy. Flavors with wheat or nuts are starred in the flavor list. Our sorbetto is vegan and free of both soy and gluten.

All flavors are made in a kitchen that processes wheat and nuts and may not be suitable for celiacs or those with severe allergies.
